Pennsylvania Brownfields Inventory

Welcome to Pennsylvania’s Brownfield Inventory website. If you’re looking for a suitable property for your redevelopment needs, this free, online directory is the place to start. Search the brownfields inventory now.

The information in the directory is provided voluntarily by property owners and community redevelopment organizations. It contains information such as parcel size, location, previous use, utilities, proximity to transportation and environmental data.

What is a brownfield?

Brownfields are typically former industrial or commercial properties that have some sort of environmental contamination. Since they are often located in manufacturing or industrial areas, they are close to existing infrastructure, making their cleanup and redevelopment particularly attractive.
